Miley Cyrus has an early dinner/business meeting at Katsu-Ya restaurant on Wednesday (May 20) in Studio City, Calif.
The 16-year-old Hannah Montana actress hasn’t auditioned yet but is being considered for the dance flick “Footloose“. Chace Crawford recently just secured his role in the movie.
“They’ve expressed interest in Miley for the part,” a source tells E! News. “[She's] definitely in the mix.”

Getting in some sisterly bonding time, Miley Cyrus was spotted doing some retail therapy with her older sister Brandi yesterday (May 19) in Studio City, California.
The “Hannah Montana” hottie looked to be enjoying herself as she made an exit from the Royal Dutchess store, carrying a bag full of finds.
In related news, it looks like Miley could very well be joining Chace Crawford in the much-anticipated remake of the 1980s hit film “Footloose.”
A source close to Cyrus told press, “They’ve (producers) expressed interest in Miley for the part.” And an insider at the studio has confirmed that Cyrus “is definitely in the mix.”

Following a long day on the set of her hit show “Hannah Montana,” Miley Cyrus opted for some delicious dinner in Burbank last night (May 18).
Joined by her mother Tish, the “7 Things” songstress made her way to The Smoke House restaurant, smiling for the paparazzi as she headed inside.
In related news, Miss Cyrus recently commented on her physique via her Twitter page, saying, “I just jiggled my thighs and they shook on their own for 3 mississipis. No more late night lucky charms.”
Soon thereafter, she thought better of her self-critique and posted, Talk all you want. i have my flaws. im a normal girl theres things about my body i would change but stop with calling me f*t in post. i dont…even like the word,” adding, “oh and ps if your thighs don’t jiggle go see a doctor. thanks. 
”
